Identity Reflection
My thoughts on this short film is that people can adapt this alternate identity when around others. I say this because everyone had a mask on and some people were embracing it and seemed happy, while others didn't. The teacher didn't have a mask on maybe its because he had it on once before and took it off. When The main character took off her mask everyone was looking at her.
Todays lesson
In today's lesson I learned about a poem made by Langston hueghs. It was about a black man talking about experiencing discrimination, but still having hope for the future.
The last 3 minutes
I think the message of this Film is to enjoy what you have while you have it. I say this because the man's life was more exciting and enjoyable when he was younger. I think the purpose of life is to enjoy what you have while you have it. I say this because the man had a good life even though the ups and downs he still found a way to enjoy life. Even though he died alone and looked sad he still enjoyed life.
The Best Advice
The beat advice that my mother has given me is to always think about the consequences. She told me this because one time I stole from the store and didn't get caught. But then my mom found what I stole after the fact and disciplined me. She told me even though I didn't get caught by the store I was caught by her. She explained to me how I didn't think of the consequences and even if I did I didn't take it serious. I followed this advice at times when it came to doing certain things. For example doing things I wasn't supposed to do I would think harder of if and change my mind.
